I’ve been having the working woman blues lately. After finding some comfort from the systers mailing list (a global mailing list for women in IT), I was inspired to pick up, among other things, an audiobook of How To Win Friends and Influence People.
I’m currently on the 2nd disk, but the main gist of it thus far is Don’t Be A Jerk*, which is an alright lesson, I guess. I was kind of hoping for something more… more profound, I guess.
* More accurately, Don’t be a jerk, even when you think they might be jerks to you.. in fact, don’t even think that way.
