The Alice factory.

Text

This is how much I stress about work.

Last night I had this dream that I was working at the security operations center again, analyzing realtime traffic. Except, it wasn’t network traffic — it was sewage, and I was watching it flow by and writing signatures that’d keep it from creeping into the city’s water supply.

I woke up feeling a little high-strung and exhausted.

* I also dreamt a musical last night, where the spirit of a dead ex-wife was singing about how when she gives her heart she gives her heart completely but has since learned that a little reservation is good in love… and at the end, she sings about not haunting the new wife anymore through the jewelry she’d left behind. It seemed very Fiddler on the Roof.
